Our Values
At the Copenhagen Craft Beer Club, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that celebrates our shared love for craft beer. Our values are based on respect, diversity, and ensuring that everyone feels safe and comfortable participating in our events and discussions. We encourage members to foster an environment where everyone can enjoy their passion for craft beer both in-person and online.
Unacceptable Behaviors
To maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere, we do not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. Unacceptable behaviors include but are not limited to:
Harassment: Harassment can take various forms, including verbal, physical, or visual harassment. This includes offensive comments, unwanted advances, and any behavior that creates an intimidating or hostile environment.
Discrimination: We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
Inappropriate Conduct: Any behavior that is disruptive to the club's events or discussions, including excessive alcohol consumption, excessive noise, or any actions that harm the experience of others.
Bullying: Bullying, whether online or in-person, is strictly prohibited. This includes any form of cyberbullying, trolling, or the use of offensive language.
Non-Consensual Activities: Any non-consensual activities, including unwelcome physical contact, are strictly prohibited.
Violation of Laws: Any behavior that violates local, national, or international laws is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Reporting Unacceptable Behaviors
We are committed to addressing and resolving any issues promptly. If you experience or witness any unacceptable behavior within the Copenhagen Craft Beer Club, you have several avenues for reporting:
Club Ambassadors: Our club Ambassadors are available at in-person club events to provide support. Please seek them out if you need assistance. Members can also message club Ambassadors online to report behavior that goes against our code of conduct.
Anonymous Reporting: If you prefer not to disclose your identity, you can report issues through an anonymous form available in the Facebook group. We take all reports seriously and will handle each case while respecting your privacy.
Consequences for Bad Behaviors
The Copenhagen Craft Beer Club takes reports of unacceptable behavior seriously. Consequences for such behaviors may include, but are not limited to:
Warning: Depending on the severity of the incident, a warning may be issued to the individual involved, emphasizing the importance of adhering to our code of conduct.
Temporary Suspension: In some cases, individuals may face a temporary suspension from club activities or online platforms, allowing time for reflection and corrective actions.
Permanent Ban: Repeated or severe violations may result in a permanent ban from the club.
Our goal is to foster a respectful and welcoming community for all members. We believe that by adhering to this code of conduct, we can create a safe and enjoyable space for everyone who shares our passion for craft beer.
